PRINTING PROCESS:
Giclée is a French word (pronounced Gee-Clay) meaning spraying of ink. All Giclees are produced on either 100% Cotton, all rag 310 gram paper or Classic Fine Weave canvas. All Canvas Giclees are limited edition and come with a Letter Of Authenticity.
What is the quality of the Giclée reproduction method?
Giclees are one of the finest reproduction methods available today. The depth of color far surpasses that of lithographs. Pigment based inks are superior in archival quality than dye based inks (dye fades quickly) My Giclees are created using Pigment based archival inks printed on a Roland HiFi 12 color printer.
Major Museums and galleries showing giclées include:
Metropolitan Museum, New York
Philadelphia Museum of Art
The Corcoran Gallery
San Francisco Museum of Modern Art
Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles
The British Museum
